How often should you be deep cleaning your house?
Many experts suggest you deep clean your house at least once or twice a year if you regularly clean your home. If more time goes in between each cleaning it may be a good idea to up this to 3 or 4 times a year. With that said if you are asking the question it may be a good idea to get it scheduled. What’s included in a deep cleaning?
We strongly recommend a deep cleaning if your home has not been professionally cleaned in over 1 month. The reason for this is deep cleaning includes a few different tasks than routine home cleaning. In addition to the checklist below we include cleaning of the outside of the kitchen cabinets, cleaning the baseboards, interior windows, removing water stains, removing soap scum, cleaning trim and light switches, and dusting vents.

When do I need to do a heavy duty cleaning?
Heavy duty cleanings would be for instances of homes that need more time and love than a typical deep cleaning. Homes with lots of stains in bathrooms, tubs, sinks, and stoves. These homes may not have had a clean in the last 6 months or more. If you select this option please include a note on the current biggest problem areas.
What does a deep cleaning cost?
Our deep cleans start at a flat $180 for a home under 1000 sq feet and with 1 bathroom
Should I clean before the cleaners come?
This is a funny concept of cleaning before the maids come. We do not recommend nor require this. However, to best prepare for your house cleaner you can do a few things.
- Pick up clutter on floors and tables. This will ensure things will not get misplaced if we do it for you. It is also very time consuming for the cleaning staff and may not allow us to devote the proper care for more important tasks
- Pick up pet accidents. At this time we are unable to pick up any pet waste. However, pet hair is no issue at all 🙂
- Special requests or things to look out for We want this service to be the best possible experience for you. So if there is something that would specifically make you happy let us know so we can do them!
